The Research Room
The Museum has a small research room which contains books and vertical files on local history information. Click here for a list of all the information files we have by topic. The room is open to the public during normal hours by appointment only. Please call the museum to set up an appointment at 519-537-8411.
The Collection
The Museum's collection is also available to researcher via the Museum's database. The collection contains over 18,000 searchable artifacts. Included in the collection are over 8,000 photographic images of Woodstock’s history. Images may be reproduced for a nominal fee which depends on the format requested, see fee schedule below. Note, only images that are in the public domain or that the Museum owns copyright can be reproduced. Please call the museum for more information or to set up an appointment with the registrar at 519-537-8411 ex. 2902 or by e-mailing

Reproduction Fees (per image)
B&W Photocopy 8X10 = $1.00
Colour Photocopy 8X10 = $3.00
Photo Paper 8X10 = $10.00
Low resolution CD/E-mail = $5.00
High resolution CD only = $10.00
Publication = $10.00 This fee is added to the reproduction fee if the image will be published.
Note, all fees collected are used for the care of this collection.
